Covenant of Partnership
As a partner in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus with
those called, gathered, enlightened and purified by the Holy Spirit at and as
St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Courthouse Square in downtown
Toledo, Ohio, I, by signing my name to this Covenant, am committed to:
Frequent worship; being
nourished in Holy Communion;
becoming trained in
righteousness through the correction
and reproof of Holy Scripture;
being prayerful as my first
resort; and being and becoming
more patient, perseverant
and forgiving as I grow up in
every way into Jesus Christ,
the Head of the Christian
Church---His Body into which I
have been baptized. What
Almighty God has begun in
me and my partners in the
Gospel, Almighty God shall
complete by the Day of Jesus
Christ!
